About BarCalcs
BarCalcs is a free utility hub for the drinks trade. It exists because the math that decides whether a bar makes money still mostly lives in half-broken spreadsheets, notes apps and someone's memory. Every tool here does one job well, runs instantly in the browser and never asks for an account.
How we build the tools
- Free and signup-free. The calculators are complete on their own. No trial, no gated results, no email wall.
- Real bar units. Millilitre bottle sizes, ounce pours, dashes, barspoons, handles and magnums — the units on your invoices and in your well.
- Private by default. Nothing you type is sent anywhere. The math runs on your device.
- Mobile first. Most people use these standing at a bar, one-handed, before service.
Who it's for
Bartenders writing specs, bar managers auditing pour cost, beverage directors pricing menus, owners watching margin, caterers and event bartenders quoting private parties. If your job involves a bottle, a price and a percentage, the tools apply.
What's next
Liquor cost, break-even, event bar quantities, staffing and tip pooling are in development. After that, optional free accounts so you can save recipes, build a costed menu and export results — the existing calculators will stay free regardless. BarCalcs may later carry clearly labeled partner recommendations; it will never dress an ad up as a result.
